This is an assignment from Game Design course on Coursera.org
Requirement was to take the previous iteration of the game and build a story into it, or create a new game based around a story. The goal of this assignment is to incorporate narrative elements into the game to make the gameplay more compelling and enjoyable while staying within the same limitations.
- The game should all fit on one piece of paper
- The game should be a one-player game
- Description and instructions for the game should be at the top of the page
- The only extra thing anyone should need to play are two six-sided dice, which are an optional element you may include in your game.
Since Paper Dungeons is already self sufficient and has no available space to add more narrative elements I decided to create different Player led game with more focus on telling a story.
Sneak peak
On the wandering road, a masterless warrior meets chance and choice. Some stories are honored, some shamed and some forgotten. Which one will be yours?
