Kintsugi

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the breaks with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. Instead of hiding the damage, the technique highlights the cracks as part of the object's history, making the repaired piece unique and often more beautiful. This philosophy treats breakage and repair as a part of an object's journey, rather than something to disguise.
